Stateless in the Universe-demo (tape,1997)

I bought this tape from the band in a gig in a squat ten years ago (the last moment i didn't buy a tape with Generation of Chaos demo and i after so many years i m thinking of my stupidity..)
Stateless in the Universe was formed in mid 90's in Thessaloniki Greece including Sonia the drummer of legendary Naytia. This is their demo tape recorded sometime in winter of 1997/98. They also released a split LP with the Austrian punks Knallkopf and disbanded after a tour in Europe.
Their demo tape is a mix of crust/hardcore, there are some metal influences (Foreigner / stranger), even some ska parts(They always aim at the brain). Male/female vocals, a live track is included but the demo production is weak. Tape's cover has folder with lyrics and translation, lyrics deal with socio-politics as usual.
Members later went on with Laternativa (ska-punk) and One Drop(reggae)
Tracklist:
1: I start all over again
2:Mass media are...
3:Over the city
4:Foreigner/stranger
5:Fire
6:Love song
7:To find your lost power
8:They always aim at the brain
9:Anathema

Here's a rehersal/practice recording from March 2000. 14 tracks and most of them appear in Childhood's war. They cover Chaos Generation and Koinonika Apovlita (Social Waste) tracks , the production is raw but members skills and their technical metallic crust makes the result interesting. Uprising-demo (cd,2003)

Uprising is a political crust band from Michigan, USA. They were formed around 2002/03 and their discography (as far as i know) includes a spit w Contravene,(catchphraze Rec.s,2004) still available, and the "As long as there is a profit to be made" 7"(Acts of Attrition/Incendiary Sound Records)
Unfortunately their old web site is down but you can find some infos in their myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/uprising
The demo here, is a cd with a bunch of tracks according to the cover "not good enough to appear on vinyl" but i think they are wrong: these tracks are good enough, the band seems to pe pissed and what they deliver is not crap but a metallic version of Contravene. Raw production, ungry vocals and political lyrics, fast/midpaced tempos, nice breaks and having heard their split w Contravene i know what they can deliver and i find nothing bad here. Killing For Profit is one of Uprising tracks in this split.
tracklist:
1. Scene of insanity
2. Killing for profit
3. Papal mind rape
4. Capitalist terrorism
5. Crusade for oil
6. White lies

Union of Uranus-Backhand (tape,1994)

UoU were a crust band from Canada and this is their Backhand demo tape (1994, Daybreak Rec.s) and its better to read this text from their myspace than my shitty writing:
(Union of) Uranus were around in the early to mid 1990's and released a demo tape (called the "Backhand Demo", which was later to become their side of the elusive split lp with His Hero is Gone), a split ep (with Quebec crusty band Immoral Squad) and the double ep (which was later re-released as a 12'' on Farewell Records from Germany). Uranus' was more or less based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and sort of self-perpetuated the DIY scene at the time, which was loosely organized around a venue/house known as 5 Arlington. Member(s ?) of Uranus lived at the house, which was the hub of activity in Ottawa through it's existence. Many touring bands were brought in, who otherwise might have taken the well-worn route from Toronto straight to Montreal and avoided the smaller city of Ottawa. With an insular scene such as Ottawa had at the time (largely due to the city being relatively small), and it's connection to Montreal, many bands such as Shotmaker, Uranus, Drift, One Eyed God Prophecy, et al. shared resources. Yannick's record label, the Great American Steak Religion, was also responsible for releasing many of these bands, and internationally, the home scene of these bands was probably seen as being larger than it actually was. These years in Ottawa were probably the most active for "crusty" type bands (although there was always an emo aspect to the bands and activities) which, with the demise of Uranus and 5 Arlington slowly vanished. Members of Uranus went to play in bands like Speedy Huffler Kings (drummer), Dead Man's Right Hand (singer), and of course His Hero Is Gone and Tragedy (Yannick).
Tracklist:
1: Backhand
2: One eye strengthens
3: Weight of tomorrow
4: Equilibrate
5: Preasure (Negative Approach)

Disrupt-Demo tape (1988, 4 tracks)

I have posted Disrupt's Millions die for money making boot ep here and there's a notice on the cover informing this is the first Disrupt demo recordings.(actually a part of first demo:the ep contains seven tracks while the regular demo tape twelve. Today i discovered Tony Leone's myspace page, he was the first Disrupt bassist for really sort time (a month or so), there's a 4 track demo there and and since he was the first bassist this must be the first demo, furthermore Tony says so in Profane Existence forum in a topic about this tape: This is the first Disrupt demo, these tracks are not included in the 'The Rest' cd or the discography cd (Dead Alive Rec.s), Tony had these tracks and gave it to Kamarinos after Relapse remastered all the tapes..
You know what they say:"when more than one greeks are involved then a mess comes",Pete Kamarinos and Harry Haralabatos...... (just like Tony, Harry left the band very early).. i really don't know what going on but i have no reason to doubt about what Tony is saying
Demo tape 88 tracks:
1: Another child dies
2: Porvertist's value
3: Murder king
4: untitled

Hiatus-In my mind (tape 1990)

This is the second demo tape of belgians Hiatus, recorded and released back in May of 1990, one year after the recordings of "The Frightening Men Story" tape. Here they deliver 18 tracks mixing Extreme Noise Terror, Doom and Discharge in a raging crustcore inferno of brutal vocals, distorted guitars and aggressive riffs, The sound quality is neither great nor bad for 1990's demo, they use intros (sound effects or movie parts, they seem to enjoy their time in studio making joke-songs by including some a few seconds long tracks, John Martin and Bob remind me of System Shit's Hell-o! and Sore Throat attitude, plus the fact that the last track is backwards recorded
Members of Hiatus latter formed Unhinged
Tracklist:
01: Will it be a third world war
02: Keep your eyes closed
