Afgrund is a grindcore/crust band from Uppsala, Sweden. They formed in 2006 and "Hjartslag och Djupa Andetag" is a five track demo cd recorded in spring of 2006.Afgrund members were previously in bands such as 21 Lucifers, Mareridden, Avsmak and others. They balance between grindcore and crust with raging riffs, blast beats and insane distorted vocals. About eight minutes total running time and the sound quality is good."Hjartslag och Djupa Andetag" had good responses and very soon the band signed with the polish label Lifestage Productions and released a split cd w Relevant Few and the "Svarta dagar" cd,(second best LP of the month for the Swedish metal magazine "Close Up"(August '07). They toured in Sweden and Germany and played in Obscene Extreme Fest
