Distate-Bastard D-Beat demo cd (2010)

Distate hail from Brazil (not any relation with Distate from UK) and this is their demo recorded sometime in 2010. There are four tracks and over of ten minutes of raw, drunk and stinking D-beat coming straight from the old and glorious days of Discharge. Sound is raw and lyrics deal with the usual topics except Whorehouse D-beat which probably deals with some other kind of shit, all punks love Lemmy and Motorhead despite Whorehouse blues so idon't wanna judge anyone, i don't know the lyrics, they probably did this as a joke but it would be better if the reference to 'bitches' on the cover wasn't there but anyway i ranted too long about this bullshit. This is good shit for all D-Beat lovers, the demo is available for free on their myspace.

Dead To A Dying World-st 2x lp (2011,Tofu Carnage)

This is Blackened Apocalyptic Epic Crust from Dallas Texas: Dead To A Dying World is a seven(!) piece act and this is their eponymous album which is currently available for streaming and its going to be release by band's own label Tofu Carnage. Its consists of three tracks that last approximately 45 minutes and bring you an amazing blending of crust, doom and US black metal with dual screamed/grunted vocals. There are many tempo changes and the fast crust/crustcore parts are followed by emotional/atmospheric/doomy and even ambient-ish breaks, there are mournful melodies here and there, the vocalists spit despair and agony while some cello parts make the whole shit more dark and haunting. Once you say the great part of the song has passed and the next minute you stay speechless by the new turn of rhythm, melody and the ideas of band. Awesome shit in the vein of Fall of Efrafa, Agrimonia and the likes. Sound quality is perfect and Phillip Cope of Kylesa stands behind these three tracks which were recorded in autumn of 2010, You can pre-order a copy from Tofu Carnage.

Tortura T-Demo CDr 2009

This is dark melodic crust from Spain: Tortura T formed in Cáceres, in the region of Extremadura, South West Spain and as usual i don't know anything about them. This is their demo from 2009 bringing seven tracks of dark and melodic crust with some black metal influences here and there: Dark riffs are mixed with mid/fast pace beat from rhythm section and high pitched screamed vocals and the melodic solos/leading guitar parts fit nicely. Sound quality is raw but delivers the goods. This is good. The demo was released by Killer Pandereta Records and is offered for free.

Noituus-Mögäten Maailmanloppuun Demo cd 2010

Noituus (Witchcraft) hail from Turku, Finland, they are active since 2005 and they have a shitload of releases under their belt (check their myspace). My blog mate Gallo posted a tape by them including their first demos and a live recording, here you got Mögäten Maailmanloppuun cd recorded in 2010 and sixteen tracks and over of 15 minutes of chaotic drunk crust noise:96% crust, 3% D-beat, 1% delirium tremens. this describes everything! Comparing to the first demos, Mögäten.. sounds heavier and more "professional", the fast, chaotic inferno has decent production and could be described as an effort to create something more than just noise. All lovers of drunken raw noise give it a listening! many thanks to lumiko for offering this, cheers dude!

Sju Svåra År-Unreleased demo tracks 2002

Sju Svåra År were a short lived project formed in Stockholm by people who are/were in Wolfbrigade To What End?, Asta Kask, Burning Kitchen, Civil Aggression and many others and here you got seven tracks of punk rock reminding of Burning Kitchen recorded for a 7" ep that never saw the light of day: "Started in 2001 with Josefin, Dadde, Raf, Marja and Emma, but after a couple of rehearsals Marja decided to leave and Sara joined the band. Our goal was to do simple and melodic punk with politically charged but still personal lyrics in Swedish. We toured around Sweden and Denmark for a few years and recorded 7 songs for a 7 in 2002, but it's still not released yet. We stopped playing in 2003, but will play some shows again, seven hard years after forming the band".
