Hospise-st cdep (2010)

Hospise is a crust quartet, they hail from Moscow, Russia and this is their three track cd, as usual i don't know much about the band, all i know is they have a demo probably recorded in 2009 (there is a track in their myspace) and recently they released this cdep, future plans incl. a split cd w Warborn
This was released by Chucky the Rat Records and came out with two different covers: the one you see here, the second is more simple with band's logo only. The macabre artwork reflects the music content: This is dark crust with some (black) metal hints, each track lasts over six minutes, guitars deliver gloomy leading melodic parts, the songs move in fast pace with some slower emotional breaks, vocals are howled/screamed, if you are into Leadershit, Ekkaia( in their last lp) and other Tragedy-From Ashes Rise orientated bands then you are gonna love this. Lyrics wise they have done some great work:"Hell is in death cry of every innocent victim/And in frozen eyes of dead animals/Hell is in the rivers of constantly spilled blood/And in homeless children's corpses stiff in death/And our deepest sin is our salvation,Our ability to raze everything from rememberance". Great stuff. The singer sings in Russian, lyrics can be found in their myspace and the translation in english as well.

Cut Out Illussion-st cd (2008)

Cut Out Illusion is a three piece act coming from Bryansk Russian Federation and this is their 2008 st cd released by the Bryansk based label Road To Freedom. I don't know anything about them, their myspace has not any info and according to some sites this is their first release. Music wise this is dark hardcore with shouted vocals, intense guit riffs, some crust hints appearing here and there, the sound quality is good and guitar is thick and heavy, the singer shouts in Russian and songs move in mid to fast pace. There are eleven tracks and the demo lasta over twenty minutes, the band offers this for free in their myspace.

Klusterbomb-Demo 2009

Klusterbomb hail from Stockholm, Sweden, they formed in late '08 and in summer of '09 they recorded this demo. The only infos about the band can be found in Masken's Punk As Fuck. The 11 tracks of demo last for about 14:30" and deliver rough and raw dis-hardcore, most tracks move in fast pace, vocals are angry and shitty, lyrics in Swedish, the sound is decent. The band offers this for free in their myshit in a torrent link but there 's no seeding for the moment so you can get it here.

VA-Asian Crust vol 3:Singapore

One more compilation in the Asian Crust series and this time the bands come from Singapore. As usual, i don't know any shit about the bands, (ok, i already knew Distrust), there are 34 bands covering the fields from crust and D-beat to Oi! and from mincecore and grind to melodic punk and punk 77. the songs last for about 80 minutes, i don't know if these bands represent the scene of Singapore but its a good start since among them there are some really interesting acts.
Take a look at vol I and vol II if you already haven't, and something for those who might misunderstood some things: This is a web compilation, not an actual release and none of previous Asian Crust compilations is an actual release, all songs are collected from myspaces, there is no any profit out of it, just the spreading of word and the supporting of scene.
Coming up (and hopefully) is the Philippines scene comp. as i promised and a Thailand comp. as well

Cancer Spreading-Stench core scum tape 2007

This was posted some weeks ago but the track list was wrong, here it is again with the correct tracks, many thanks to Gabry, (vox) who kindly offered the missing tracks
So lets make the post again: This is the absolut Deviated Instinct worship : Cancer Spreading is the name of a stench core act from Modena, Italy and was also the title of a Deviated Instinct song. Then as you might have already noticed, the demo artwork reminds of Mid's works (esp in Welcome to the orgy). Somehow, these similarities prove what you got here..
This was recorded some time in 2007 and was followed by a split w Children of Technology,a 7" split w Cruel Storm and a 12" split w Disköntroll, some more releases are planned.
If Deviated Instinct decide to record some new songs then they will probably sound like Cancer Spreading. Stench Core Scum comes in tape format and musically and aesthetically is close to Deviated Instinct. There are eleven songs including three live tracks,recorded at Live at Do It YourFest @ Prato, Italy. The cover of Despair is great and the stenchcore version of Outbreak of Evil (Sodom) is excellent
needless to say any other shit.

Trauma-Demo 2009

Trauma is a new hardcore band hailing from Portland, Oregon and include two guys from Tragedy. This is their demo, recorded sometime in 2009 and consists of nine tracks that nearly last for eleven minutes. Their myshit has not any information about the band or any other recordings so i guess this is their only recorded material. Tracks are fast, short and powerful and hardly last over a minute each, vocals are shouted, guitars are chaotic and deliver raging riffs reminding of Finnish hardcore bands. There is no any filler all track are nice. This is aggressive and powerful hardcore and the decent sound helps the band deliver the goods, hope to see them recording more stuff

Dead is Sexy-Demo 2006

Dead is Sexy come from Pezinok Slovakia (Slovak Republic) , they formed in 2006 and this is their demo recorded that year. They had some line up changes and this is their only recorded material. the demo delivers eight tracks and 24 minutes of heavy crust/hardcore with brutal vocals. The sound is a a bit raw and rough with metallic hint and they manage to deliver the aggression, the vocalist growls deep low, drums are clear and song tempos vary from mid paced to fast but more variety on this would work nicely. Surprisingly, some twisted guitar solos appear here and there. Discharge, Disfear, Arnia, Dischange, Asocial, Nihilist, are mentioned as influences. Falls of Rauros-Of Stone and the Stars in the Sky [tape,2007]

Since winter is still here its time for a little dose of black metal that creates pictures of snowy forests, cold winter nights and such things: Falls of Rauros come from Maine, United States and they are a (so-called) "North Appalachian Heathen Black Folk Metal" band. In 2006 they recorded Window of the Eye demo tape that was followed by Of Stone and the Stars in the Sky and Into the Archaic lp (self-released) one year later. In 2008 they released Hail Wind and Hewn Oak (Morbid Winter Records) and recently the Revisitation discog cd on Wulfrune Worxxx
Of Stone.. delivers two tracks that last over twenty minutes of melodic black metal in the vein of Agalloch, the fast and depressive back metal parts are followed by melodic acoustic breaks, production is decent sounding, vocals are the usual black metal screeches and fit nicely with the music, lyric wise the band deals with topics searched by bands such as Agalloch, Skagos, Wolves in the Throne Room, Oakhelm etc

War//Plague-demo 2008

War//Plague come from Minneapolis, United States and was formed by members of Provoked, Flux of Disorder, Path of Destruction and others. This is their three track demo recorded in 2008 at the House of Misery and produced by Jon Misery (of Misery of course). The tracks are available for listening in their myshit and also in Moshpit Tragedy. Music wise this is heavy crust having its roots in UK's metallic crust of '80's (Amebix, Axegrinder) and also in the heavy stenching crust of Misery and Hellshock. Nice effort and a promising beginning, an upcoming ep on Active Rebelion has just been announced.

Lakme-Demo cd 2006

This is dark and psychotic crust with screamed vocals, heavy riffs and emotional acoustic parts. Lakme come from Prague, Czech Rep and include members of Dakhma, this is their four track demo recorded in 2006, they seem to be in hiatus after one 7",one cdr,one lp and the still long awaited split 7" w Bökanövsky
The demo lasts for about ten minutes, lyrics are in their native language. Lakme's crust is dark and pessimistic and the intensity of riffs is helped by the screamed vocals. This is walking on the dark footsteps of Ekkaia, Alpinist, Downfall of a Gaia and such bands. Go get it

Skallbrand-Mad Man's Rumble & Welcome to the Nuclear Suicide

Here's some smelly stinking kids from Kristianstad, Skåne, southern Sweden, Skallbrand formed in 2005 by former members of Quilpish, Magistrators and other acts. They first demo Mad Man's Rumble (cdr) came out in 2006 and one year later they recorded Welcome to the Nuclear Suicide (cdr), both demos are available here, first demo is a bit raw with the 80's guitar sound and there are some good moments there while the second has better sound quality. Music wise this is kängpunk having its roots in the dis-legacy of Anti Cimex, Totalitär, Shitlickers and others. Really good piece of shit

Krash of Humanity-st cd 2009

Krash of Humanity is a five piece act from the province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy and include members of Anti-Apatia Collective, they formed in autumn of '08 and this is their six track cd, released in January of 2009 by Death Crush distro and Grezzi & Feroci Records. The cover artwork theme remimds me of Nuclear Death Terror's lp cover and its the sign of crust shit that is delivered: There are six tracks plus an intro and an outro of nearly twenty minutes of brutal grinding crust with raw and distorted guitar, deep low growling vocals and mid paced tempos delivering the hybrid of a crusty version of Prophecy of Doom's grindcore. Lyrics included (Martin growls in Italian but there are some texts in English), only 69 copies were made. The demo is available from Punk4free.

i dont know anyshit about these dudes, they come from Czech Republic and in their site there are many infos but in their native language, from the little things i understood they formed around 2006, the demo was recorded sometime this year and they called it quits in 2008.
The demo is available for free in their site, you can also find the song lyrics (two tracks are in English) and some videos,. Music wise this is grinding crustcore, raw, noisy and brutal as it can get. A Kaaos and a Mrtvá Budoucnost track are included

Systemskifte-Demo 2009

Systemskifte is a käng hardcore band from Nyköping, Sweden, they formed in autum of '09 and in December they recorded this six track demo. The demo lasts for about 9:30", the band ia a trio but they are enough people to make noise, songs hardly last over a minute, Dropdead, Disclose, Totalitär, Doom (btw they are back in action and will appear in Punk illegal, check here) , Code 13 and other noisy acts are mentioned as their influences so you know what you got here.
