Kriegshog-cover songs demo tape

This is raging D-beat from the land of rising sun:Kriegshog hail from Tokyo, Japan, they formed a few years ago, they have a five track demo tape (2007) and a few 7" under their belt: Hardcore hell 7" (Hardcore Survives and re-released on Heart Fist) and splits with Dog Soldier (HG Fact) and Deathtribe (In Crust we Trash), all releases came out during 2008 and recieved good reviews. This is a two track tape released by Hardcore Survives in 2007 and consisting of two covers (Iconoclast and the Asexual) played the way Kriegshog deliver their D-beat noise: Thrashy, violent, raw and noisy hardcore inferno with screamed/shouted angry vocals. No need to say anything, get it!

Invasión-Demo

This is the demo recording of the spanish punk outfit Invasion, which is done live i think, and is really awfull(that's why i uploaded the same tracks, but with a better recording).Better to let you people out there know this before you give this spanish d beat punkhardcore inferno a try.Now what's to know about this band is that nowdays theyre called destino final.Name changing probably occured as a result of member changing, though, music vise,it's preety much the same thing they always have played,hc punk with lots of discharge in it,but in a noisy and mean kinda way.I also need to mention that there's reverbed vocals, that gives the anger that comes out of the tunes, that extra kick in the back, just enough to get you into that whirlwind of distortion. Now a brief band history, the band is formed around 2004,same year this demo recording was made,3 years later, they release the first LP on la vida es un mus records, which contains these same tracks plus few more, and a bit more refined sound, year after they did another release,La Caza(the hunt) 12'',which after, the name is Destino Final.Enough word mollesting from me,noisiest thing to come out of spain since the civil war!!

Disempower-demo 2007

Disempower are some D-beat freaks from San Antonio,TX, and this is their four track demo recorded in 2007. I don't know anything about them, actually i don't know if they still exist as a band, their myspace seems abandoned and there's no any information on the web, in their myspace they announce (in March '08) the release of a cd-r called "The Atrocity & Nightmare".
Anyway, this demo delivers four tracks of fast paced and raging D-beat/crust full of energy, the sound is raw and noisy, vocals are angry and shouted with a Japanese flavor. Framtid, World Burns to Death, Death Side, Defector, Discharge and Anti Cimex are some of the bands mentioned in their myshit as influences and thats the kind of noise they deliver.

Deathrats-Demo/7'' st

Female fronted hardcore punk band hailing from Washington,DC,thats Deathrats. And im not really sure how much this is the demo these guys and a girl released or it's the 7'',which was put out by to live a lie records, but anyway, its uploaded,so its all yours.Still, this is not really crust or anything, except maybe that in track 1 theres some mellodic part, like neocrust bands have, but other than that, these guys play fast trashy hardcore, cause of the vocals imagine it as some sort of cross between life's halt and i object, though a bit more raw than those two anyway. You can check out their review in MRR zine here, and check the bands blog here,in case you want to score coppies of this. So,feminist and activist like lyrics inside, and a hardcore missile in your home.Have fun!

Nuclear Sex Addict-Seminaal fuckkwit [tape]

This is shamelessly stolen from Sean's Damaging Noise: Nuclear Sex Addict were from Australia and included members of Pisschrist and ABC Weapons, Seminaal fuckkwit is a seven track demo tape of sickly distorted noise punk blending Lebenden Toten, Aghast,GAI, Confuse and the like. This is NSA's only release, sadly they called it quits before release anything else. A must for noise punk lovers

Empty Hands-demo 2008

This is the first demo of Empty Hands recorded during the summer of 2008. We have met these guys and girls from Ontario, Canada in their second demo which delivers amazing crust in the vein of Tragedy, from Ashes Rise and the likes. The '08 demo consists of four tracks with amazing leading guitar parts and nice riffs and melodies, screamed female vocals, tempo changes and its similar to their second demo. The sound is a bit raw but still delivers the goods. One thing is for sure: Instead of hiding behind endless feedback of noise they try to bring something that needs skills and its far beyond the in-your-face noise stuff. Wait for an official release by them. They added links and offer for free both of their demos.

Seahag-Demo 2007

Seahag is a doom metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, they started under the name Locust Swarm in 2004 and members were/are in Circle of the Black Thorn and Deadbird. In 2005 they recorded a demo, soon after that they called it quits but some months later they came back as Seahag
The 2007 demo was released by the Little Rock based label Hell's War Records and delivers five slow tuned stoner/down doom metal tracks, this is sick, sorrowful and heavy, each song lasts over seven/eight minutes (demo's running time is approximately 31:30") there are desperate screamed vocals, bass and drums feed back the fall into a oblivious lethargy, guitar has some (what else?) Black Sabbath influences. The band is going to record some new tracks for a lp and offers the demo for free in their myshit

Winds of Genocide-Apocalyptic Death Crust cd 2009

This is Apokalyptic Death Crust from Durham,North East England. Winds of Genocide was formed this year by people who previously were in brutal acts such as Morstice, Revolt (from UK) and others.
Here you got a rehearsal recording of three tracks recorded live in summer of ’09 in an old four track recorder. As expected the sound is raw, rough and brutal, the guitar spits noise, there is no bass and Kat's deep low growls are inhuman and brutal. There are tons of noisy acts in their myshit mentioned as influences and has no meaning to say it sounds like this or like that since this recording is live and rough but anyway it sounded good to my ears. These tracks came out in the self released Apocalyptic Death Crust cd, a six track hand numbered tape version of ADC came out in 2010, limited to 200 copies including three more tracks

Noituus-Demo Tape 2006

Noituus is a 3 member band coming from the cold's of Turku,Finland.Theyre formed around 2005 and have released a shitloads of material during theyre 4 year existence period, which im not going to copy from space page, you can check that part youreself. From the stuff they have released ive heard only theyre split with sarkofachocrss88 and a 3 way split with Praia de Vomito and Melanocetus Murrayi where they sound quite like they do on this demo. This recording is released on a tape in 2006 has 3 recordings on it,first demo, second demo and live in oulu all recorded in a 10 month period, and what you get on these recordings is some blatant kicking in the head with a noisecore crust wooden panel. The name means Witchcraft, and they say they play 96% crust 3% d beat and 1 % delirium tremens.Break something!!!

Leadershit-demo 2005

I can't find any shit to say about these dudes, actually i don't have to since the are widely known so it will be short: This is the five track demo of Leadershit recorded in 2005, this was their first effort and was followed by a split 10" with Derrota and the eponymous lp. What you should expect from a band with members of Ekkaia, Cop on Fire and Disface is here: Dark, aggressive, emotional and melodic crust/neocrust with hardcore/D-Beat elements and screaming vocals. Sound wise this is a raw version of their later stuff, the demo includes lyrics, enough said,go get it

See You in Hell-Demo Tape 2000

See You in Hell is a 4 member hc punk machinery coming from Czech Republic, the city of Brno to be exact. After the band did numerous european tours and a japan tour, nowdays they play japanese influenced hc punk and are throwing awesome live shows. We have the demo, that these guys put out around 2000,being released on tape format, this demo maybe was the foundation for the band that they are today, but it's a lot different from what they released later on.The split with Crow says enough. On this demo they have 8 tracks of fast hc punk with some grindish vocals, kinda like Gride,if youre familiar with the band,if not, imagine it as the fastcore the dutch bands like to play. After this demo they went on and managed to put up numerous releases,of which i got to mention the split ep with mass genocide process, the Utok Lp and Market yourself LP,a few more ep's and compilation appearances came on the way,for more info check the band's web site.Hope ull enjoi this!!

Xawara-Demo cd 2004

Xawara were a short lived crust band from Hannover, Germany, they formed around 2003/04 and recorded this six track demo in '04, they probably recorded some more songs (their myspace has a track that there isn't in this demo) but never released anything. Members went on in other Hannover crust bands
The demo came out in a limites number of copies and was packed in a nice hand made digipack. It delivered six tracks of gloomy neo-crust/hardcore with aggressive guitars riffs and rough vocals, imagine Cave Canem 's crust and you got these dudes(Xawara's guitarist plays now for CC).

Skizophrenia-Freedom land (tape,2006)

Skizophrenia come from Tsuyama city in Okoyama, west Japan and Freedom land is a five track demo recorded in 2006. the only shit i know about them is Raw Punk E.A.T.E.R. 7", self-released in 2008. The demo comes in tape format and delivers about ten minutes of fast, raw and filthy hardcore with the usual Japanese vocals as a signature of country of origin, the sound quality is raw and dissent. No much infos on the web about them, though some videos float on Youtube: this gig in Tsuyama or that in Tokyo are worth to check out as a a first listening to their tunes. Freedom land was self-released, S.K.Z. Tapes is band's own label

Deathraid-Demo

Deathraid comes from seattle,wa and hails from the ashes of state of fear, consume, disrupt and shitlist, and if this sentence didn't do the trick for you crusties out there im going with the explanation. So,this is the demo these 5 guys recorded somewhere around 2008 before releasing the awesome LP on blackwater rec's.Well, this demo has five of the 14 tracks contained on the lp,but with a bit more raw recording, but that doesn't bothers me at all, since this thing here is a fine example of crust hardcore punk with some r'n'r and some d beat stuff , all mixed on the plate. But still,i wouldn't go that far with this by saying its better than state of fear or consume, though, its very close to the tunes they have, closer to the first in my opinion.Never the less, this thing here is crust for the crusties.Cheers!!!

Eternal Darkness-On a throne of propaghanda cd 2007

This is heavy and stenching metallic crust from Greece:Aeonio Skotos (Αιωνιο Σκοτος,Eternal Darkness) were formed around 2006-07 in Kastoria in northern Greece. On a throne of propaganda (S'ena throno propagandas, Σ'ενα θρονο προπαγανδας) is a four track cd recorded in 2007 and delivers twelve minutes of metallic crust in the vein of Axegrinder, Deviated Instinct and the likes. Rhythm section has mid pace beat, guitar is dark, heavy and metallic, lyrics in Greek, vocals are screamed/yelled. The whole thing is very close to the Nuclear Winter's mcd. This is probably their only recorded material, never heard anything else from them, actually i don't know if they still exist as a band.
ps:this is not the original cover artwork

Utopium-Demo 2008

This is sick grindcore from Portugal: Utopium send their growling greetings from Lisboa, they are a five piece grind act and this is their 2008 three track demo cd, offered for free in their myshit: As expected this is sick and tormenting noise with hyperspeeding blastbeats, noisy guitar and monstrous vocals. Songs move in high speed , in Harvest the harshness they attempt to play some slower parts before the usual storm start raging while the rest of tracks are from start to the end in the familiar grindcore inferno. As conclusion this nothing less than the typical noisy grind delivering a wall of noise and i m glad they are not into the gory/medical lyrics trap. The band offers this shit for free in their myshit. There are some new tracks there, give 'em a listening
