Drip of Lies-Demo

Drip of Lies come from the city of Warsaw,Poland.A newer band, formed by people from some other older bands in poland i guess, they have few on their space page but ive only heard one of those i think, but then again,i dont know much about polish scene in particular. What we have here from this band is their effort to make a solid Wolfbrigade kinda crust d beat, but its not really the same, since on these 4 tracks youll hear a bit more crust/hardcore sound, but in a good kinda way.My oppinion is that this is a good start for this polish quintet. And as ending on this post,im just going to copy paste what they say on space page : Raw,distorted hardcore punk.Founded in 2008.
With members of Use The Brain,The Fight,Snakes Parade,Ultima Ratio,Kill The Famians Feeling.
Support d.i.y ,vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and antifascism.
Drop us a line via myspace or dripoflies(at)gmail.com.Later!;Thats all from me folks, cheers!!

All the Cold-Though the dead world (tape)

This is not crust but since autumn is here with gray skies, dark clouds and cold nights, All the Cold's demo is the perfect soundtrack for these rainy days:All the Cold is a two piece Ambient-ish Black Metal act and they come from the city of Murmansk, north Russia. They formed in 2008, and recorded a couple of demos and splits with some obscure experimental ambient/noise and black metal bands (split w Mordheim, split w Deep-Pression,split w Zebulon Kosted (all in 2008) and a 3-way split w Fornicaus and Happy Days (2009). In 2009 they released One year of cold (jewelcase cd and digipack)
Through the Dead World is a five track demo tape limited to only 150 copies and released on Dernier Bastion Productions. Last Winter is a slow, emotional and depressive instrumental intro, Coldness Of Another Universe is almost a dark industrial-song with wicked vocals, Suicide And The Night is another atmospheric journey into sorrow, Through The Dead World starts with an acoustic part and becomes a sick black metal song in the vein of Velvet Cacoon and finally, All The Cold is a sad and mournful outro. This is a travel in winter's snowy landscapes and frozen mountains just like the trips of Oakhelm, Agalloch and other inhabitants of depressive metal territory.
The band was discovered in Red and Anarchist Black Metal blog (the name says it all) and the link is blatantly stolen from there

Raw Hate-Demo CD

Raw Hate are four guys coming from the town of Lane in sweden. The band is active since around 2006 and have released a demo a ep and an st 12''.This is the demo,we have here today,on which are 6 tracks of pounding raw d beat crust punk, played as swede's would play it,raw, with anti cimex solos on guitar, totally distorted, heavy d beating on drums and brutal vocals, making this whole band sound really noisy, but in a raw punk kinda way, maybe a cross between warvictims and bombanfall would do the trick.Anyway,my opinion is that this demo tracks have a bit different sound than the tunes they played on the ep which came out last year. This demo is unoficial i think, and its been recorded around 2007.I'm out, take care!

Guerra Mundial-Demo 2008

This is raw and brutal noise from Philippines: Guerra Mundial come from the city of Luzviminda in the north region of country, they include members of Execution of Terror (and probably from other bands) and this is their five track demo from '08. There is not any information on their myshit, this is their first effort, it came out in spring of '08, music wise this is grinding noise in the vein of Disrupt and Destroy! with the usual raging guitars, insane vocals and fast beat. Sound quality is raw and appropriate for the genre, sometimes they sound generic but there are a few good momments (Forgetting tomorrow is a nice song and A life's a life Disrupt cover is nicely played too).

Alltrue-Demo 2006

Another shortlived band, this time coming from Italy: These guys (and girl) come from Roma, they formed in spring of 2005 and recorded a five track demo sometime in 2006. In 2007 they released a split cd with Think About on Strong Heart Records and according to their myspace in December 2008 they played their last gig
The demo delivers five tracks of old school hardcore in the vein of Minor Threat, Gorilla Biscuits, Chain of Strength, Raised Fist and others. Sound quality is very good, guitar deliver hardcore riffs, male/female shouting vocals are angry with a slight touch of NYHC and songs move from mid to fast pace. Not really bad for those who are into old school hardcore

Sotatila-Eka Demo CD

Sotatila is a hc punk d beat mixture with people coming from austria and finland, and to be more specific, the vocal is Jukka from Riistetyt, hes from finland and is doing the vocals i think, and the rest of the band,is the staff from Ruidosa Inmundicia(link is to their demo posted earlier). This band exists for few years now, from around 2004,not really sure, and this is their demo released on cd and tape format in 2005.besides this, they have some tracks from this demo on some compilations, and did a ep release around 2007,which can be scored on plague bearer,if anyone cares. So,finnish fast hardcore punk with lots of d beating,in the veins of terveet kadet and riistetyt, and also, just to know,Sotatila means war in finnish, and you can get this demo from their website which doesnt seems to work anymore or im too lazy to find it,but anyway,u can get this and take the rest of the day off!

Horros-Traininghouse tapes

From their myspace:
Horros is a trio based band from southern-Finland, from the City of Hameenlinna. Horros was forged in the fall of 2008 as a trio, containing, Elias-vocals and guitar, Miska - Guitar and Lassi - drums. Miska left the majestic armada of Horros on the very years ChristMass, but before that, he called out this scary crusty-croc Urho, to hit the bass like never before. So, few songs were made and some sodom, venom covers were played. On the spring of 2009 the band got its own training space. So we recorded some traininghouse tapes and now we have these great studio recorded tunes.

Idiots Rule-Demo tape 2006

Idiots Rule hail from Germany and the cities of Leipzig, Hagen and Stemwede. They formed around 2006 and recorded a nine track demo, in 2007 they released a 7" on Hate Records .
The demo is a tape consisting of nine tracks and eleven minutes of old school heavy hardcore with rough sound, angry vocals and fast/mid paced beat. The production is dissent and delivers the goods. If you are into the 80's hardcore from both sides of Atlantic ocean then this is ok for you. This is out of print, probably a very limited number of copies were made, though the 7" is still available from Hate Rec.s

Cyborg Justice-Demo 2008

This is an unknown and short lived noisy band from British Columbia, Canada: Cyborg Justice recorded this demo sometime in 2008 but soon after they called it quits. The tape delivers ten tracks that hardly last over a minute each and the total running time is less than eight minutes. Music wise this is a noisy and thrashing blending of hardcore and grind with desperate screamed vocals and hyper-speeding drums, sick enough to make you puke your mind.

Bakterien Kavalkade-Demo

Bakterien Kavalkade is a french based band coming from the city of Besancon. What is interesting about this all female anarcho feminist punk band is that lyrics are in german, guessing its done for effect or something, what effect,i have no idea, and it doesnt matter. What matters,is that here we have their demo self released around 2007 on CD format and has 4 tracks plus one bonus(my eddition). The tunes are not really catchy or anything, but have that crass punk flair in'em,though some have more punk hc riffs, which doesnt diminishes the band at all,but still, this isnt something that will catch you off guard.Plus, its good to hear stuff like this every now and then. The band is playing since 2006 or something, and has done few tours, mostly in states around france, and they have a new release called Vollgas put out on 10''Lp with 12 anarho/feminist/punk tracks released this year.Get this femme fatale punk and enjoi!

Reaching Hand-Demo 2007

Reaching Hand come from Portugal, they are a four piece female fronted hardcore band, they formed in summer of 2007 and they recorded a six track cd-r. In 2009 they released Threshold ep on Thorp Records from USA.
The demo comes in a cd-r and lasts for about 9:40". Tracks are full of energy and power with nice breaks and beat changes and the sound quality is excellent. Artwork is simple and white color dominates in the package, music wise they deliver a blending of heaviness and intensity of 80's hardcore, there are some nice melodies thrown here and there and Sofia's vocals are angry and full of power. Thorp Rec.s says they are close to bands such as Comeback Kid, Reign Supreme and Have Heart or traditional youth crew bands (Carry On etc) I m not into these bands and this genre in general(im too deep into crust pit i guess) but honestly, Reaching Hand sound preety nice and strong and deliver the appropriate blending of passion, aggression and melody, if you aer into this kind of hardcore give it a try

Trioxin 245-Demo

Trioxin 245 is posionous gas that makes zombies and stuff come alive. That's the gas,and this is the canadian band.Trioxin 245 come from ottawa, and its a 3 member band, just loving to play d beat-ed rock and roll tunes with some discore added to the whole thing. They were formed around 2004 and made a demo recording soon after released as a tape, this same tape was rerelased in 2007 on muerte negra records in texas. They changed a band member year after and recorded The experiment as their first full length release. In 2006 they go on and put out two more releases, split with brazilian besthoven and their ward off the evil ep,on which they are starting to have more r'n'r sound
but still have a strong d beat line. And as last from these canadian metal punx or whatever, came out the underworld ep which was released year later on shogun rec's in france, and finally got to put a metal band cover song on release, cause they love to do covers, but mostly done hc punk covers previously. This is their demo and has 14 tracks with a bit rough recording, but its kicking, its d beat, hcpunk, and some motor r'nr' tunes here and there, and afcorse has 5 covers, from varukers, anti cimex, discharge, disclose and doom, which is more than enough to guess what these guys are playing.Enough from me,get this and take care!

Siberia-Demo Tape

One night in june 2005 our brains get intoxicated, so we got 4 songs. In two weeks we recorded a demo tape in the practise-room. On summer 2006 we selfreleased a 7'' with 9 songs (525 copies). And we want to release a 12'' some day.
Well, this was copy pasted from Siberia's space profile, and i think that sums the bands origin and history(no it doesnt but...),so i guess what you need to know is the musical part of this Barcelona based band.this is their demo tape released around 2006 with 4 tracks on it,all tracks are played in d beat hc punk tune, discharged with a slight dose of japanese influence, but still this is d beat to the bone, plus,Horror members play in this band,so i think you should go for it.Also, their ep is going to be repressed,or already is,in spain, usa and uk.Thats all from me today, take care and enjoi!

Temple of Dagon-Book of Azathoth [demo 2009]

Temple of Dagon send their Lovecraftian greetings from North Hollywood, California and Book of Azathoth is their demo recorded sometime this year.
Aesthetically this is a journey into Lovecraft's universe: Dagon was the title of a story of H.P. Lovecraft written back in 1917 and Azathoth was a deity in the Cthulhu Mythos and Dream Cycle stories. Music wise this is a blending of crust, grind and metal with metal-edged guitar riffs, heavy as expected and rhythm section that builds a metal background for the angry screamed/yelled vocals and the heavy guit sound. Tracks are fast (but not so fast) with slower parts and the sound quality is excellent, there's no much variety but the band keeps the stuff far from being monotonous and boring with beat changes and smart riffs, even the six minute long "GARP" is a nice track, lyrically they probably walk in the same Lovecraftian pathways, artwork was made by Doomsday Graphics. This is nice for the metal orientated crusties and crust orientated metal heads

Skitkids/Lebenden Toten-split tape

A split tape with Lebenden Toten and Skitkids delivering loads of noise: Portland's Lebenden Toten (Living dead) contribute eleven tracks of extreme noise in the vein of GAI, Atrocious Madness, Gauze, Confuse etc. This is a noise inferno with distorted guitar, insane female vocals and an endless feed back of noise that lasts for about fifteen minutes. The Swedes Shitkids bring eleven tracks and 22 minutes of thrashing hardcore noise. Raw sound for both bands. Thanks to Chris for contributing this
