Napalm Raid-Demo 2008

Napalm Raid are 4 guys from Nova Scotia,Canada. They play crust with lots of d beating in background. This is their demo done somewhere around end of last year, which is when this band is formed. The recording is quite rough, its done live i guess & has that garage flair in it,contains 4 tracks of nice crust punk sounding quite like Doom, and maybe Anti Cimex stuff in there. Not long after this they did a new demo at beggining of 2009.All in all, interesting piece of crust from this canadian act.

Downfall of a Gaia-Demo 2008

Here is one of the best demos that were recorded in 2008: Downfall of a Gaia hail from the cities of Hamburg and Hannover, Germany, i don't know much about them, according to their Myspace they formed in 2006 as "Toxic Nation" and became "Downfall of Gaia" in 2008. Over these 2 years they released a cd-r in 2006 ( "this is what you call a life!?" ), a 12 song tape in 2007 ( "el ultimo aliento..." ) and a discography - cd in 2008 ( Indonesian release only ). Under the name DoaG they released the four track demo you got hereand a split tape with Kazan.
The demo was limited to 100 copies and and t here were different editions (handspayed & pasted cover) and the four tracks last about 23 minutes, music wise this is an excellent blending of the emotional parts of Fall of Effrafa and the neo crust riffs of Ekkaia plus the desperate screaming vocals. Imagine a band close to the Agrimonia's level of quality and then you got DoaG. The band has plans for a split with Melete and a 3 way split w Hungry Lungs & Machete

Filthy Charity are some vets from Marseille, France who are back in action after a ten year hiatus. They were formed back in 1989 and recorded a few demos, ("And the oppression continues" "Miserys is our destiny", a split demo tape w B.E.S.M.E.T., "Paradise will reborn from chaos" etc), in 1993 they released Disgrace to the earth 7" and Caught in your Silence 4-way split tape (w Cripple Bastards, Harsh Feelings and Grimcorpses) and a split ep w S.R.M.P.., in 2006 Manes Thecel Phares cd came out and three years later they called it quits, members were involved in bands such as Substance of Noise, Equilibrium and others
Return to the bloody old vein is their come back with a guy from Chiasse Negative handling vocals duties, the cdr consists of seven tracks that deliver a brutal blending of old school fast grindcore and metallic crust with guttural vocals, slightly reminding of Disgrace to the earth, all tracks were recorded live in studio.
The band offers the demo for free in their Myshit, go get it

Gusto Mastivo-Demo 2008

Tribalfilthcore. This is another u.k. band, only this time they come from the north, the home of the whiskey,Scotland.G.M. is a new band, though this guys are no rookies,as people from this band have played in acts as Tribe and Filthpact.A self released demo of 7 metal crust tracks, with a bit larger swing on the metal, but dont get me wrong, there is some punk in this, kinda like when a metal band goes d beat.So,4 guys, nice recording,a bit strange name, Motorhead like cover, make a nice debut for these Scots. Enjoy it.

Constant State of Terror-demo

Constant State of Terror are a U.K. based band,Brighton to be specific. This is a Substandard ex members band formed around 2004.It's a five member band(two guitars as backup vocals) playing punishing punk followed by brutal d-beat,which puts this band close to acts as Discharge,a bit Antisect, and maybe even some Doom in it.They have shared stage with Discharge,Subhumans, and did a recent UK tour with Visions of War.This is their demo released on tadpole rec. in 2006 and was also released as a 7'' in 2008.So all in all, nice example of english hardcore punk.

Ruidosa Inmundicia-demo 2004

Ruidosa Inmundicia hail from Austria, they are a female fronted act, they formed around 2004 and they deliver fast and aggressive hardcore.
Their demo tape was recorded in 2004, 250 copies were made, the singer sings screams in Spanish (she's from Chile) but there is a translation in English, music wise there is violent and noisy hardcore and drums keep bashing all the time, songs are short and hardly last over a minute. There are no slower parts, only fast and faster attacking fastcore.

Blutrache–Dívida De Sangue (CD Demo 2007)

Blutrache come from Tupã, Brazil and Dívida De Sangue is their demo cd recorded in 2007. The translation from Babelfish is a bit shitty so i can say only a few things : Members were previously in K9 Maniacs, their name translates Blood revenge in German and Dívida De Sangue is their first demo. Music wise they deliver rough hardcore with atrocious vocals that are typical to the Brazilian bands. Lyrics are in Portuguese and deal with current subjects, the changes of the world and the destruction of the human being by him self.
Thanks to Aquillini (Cause of Death zine) for this input, cheers dude

4 Scums-demo tracks 2007

4 Scums hail from Saint Petersburg, Russia. They formed in 2006 and recorded a six track demo called Authority (Власть). In 2007 they recorded four tracks for an upcoming ep that was supposed to be released in the beginning of 2008.
Власть was a piece of hardcore punk but in their second recording 4 Scums sound different, maybe because of the line up changes and they have transformed into a D-beat monster that slightly reminds of Distress, the sound quality is good and the four tracks last about seven minutes.
Their myspace has not any news about new recording or a release of these four tracks

Parkinson-About a war (1998)

Parkinson hail from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, they are veterans in the Malaysian scene, About a war is a tape recorded in 1998 and was released by Broken Noise Records, 500 tape copies were made plus 500 copies for the mcd version. This was the first Parkinson release and delivers eight studio and two live tracks of 14 minutes of a blending of hardcore and powerviolence with raw noisy guitar. The sound quality is not the best in the world but still good enough to deliver the insanity of band, the guitar is noisy and raw, the vocalist(s) growls and screams in English and his native language and drums keep the speed in high level.
Parkinson are still active and they have transformed into a grinding crust band, they have released: A split w Aghast (tape/3"cd,1999,Broken Noise/All System Fail (Japan) there must be a 7" version of it, the Forgotten Victims 3 way split tape w Existench (Canada) and Irritate (Finland) in 1999, Peace Now or Die! tape (2001,Broken Noise), split tape w Extreme Decay (2001), Against brutality (2002), Perubahan cd-r (2003), split tape w Tekken (2004), split cd w Dosa (2004), cdep w Reconstract (2006) and a 3 way split cd w Kirenameko and Sefmadegod (2006), all tapes/cd's were released by Broken Noise

Bludwulf-Anarchy Reaper Punx Attack [demo 2003]

Bludwulf formed in 2003 in New York by Reverend Jimmi Sinn, former singer for the chaotic kult h/c punk band the End and they play a blending of '80's thrashing metal and punk/hardcore with horror lyrics, a kind of 21th century Misfits thrashing descendants. They recorded several demos and their first official release was the two track ep Full Metal Warrior (delivering some tunes of the demo with te same name). They have some split eps's with bands such as G.A.T.E.S, Strikemaster & Metal Skull(three way split),Toxic Holocaust and Barbatos.
Anarchy Reaper Punx Attack is one of their first demos and was recorded in 2003, (There is another demo called Anarchy Reaper Attack, recorded in 2003 too but it has different track list), it delivers four tracks that blend Misfits with Discharge. The first track (Full metal warrior) is the absolute Misfits worship while the other three tracks have some hardcore and metal influences with some nice leading guitar parts. The sound is raw and decent and works really nice for the genre. Check their Myspace for some later tunes

Råtukt-Sargade illusioner demo

From their Myspace:
RÅTUKT was formed in mid-October 2008 by Ola, Victor and Tobias. The three of them were all members of local band called "Simply the Victim", but their frontman left them and they decided to make a fresh new start. With this new start they felt that they wanted to do something different from what they recently played, more energic and chaotic, so the three of them formed RÅTUKT the same day. Shortly after the band was formed, they found a screamer they thought would fulfill the spot as a frontman more then well, and after a few rehearsals they decided to let Totte front the band. After some rehearsals they had a few songs, but they felt that they needed a second guitarist. So, after a few tryouts with two great guitarists, the band decided to let Jesper fill the spot since they thought that he would fit better, both skill and music-wise. The band was now complete and song after song were made. The lyrics has mainly been written by Totte, but Gran has been helping out with almost all of them. Their first demo "Råtukt-Sargade Illusioner" was released 19th Mars and have had ALOT of great response so far. The summer of 2009 the band will focus on doing gigs as often as possible and write new songs for the EP to come. Råtukt is a energic and twisted mix of Hardcore, Rock, Math, Metal and Punk. Intensive, chaotic, raw, rockn-roll-Hardcore. No shitty solos. No shiny riffs. No clean vocals. No kind words. Just a straight fucking kick in the face.
