Sand Creek Massacre-Scandinavia tour demo [cd,2008]

The Sand Creek Massacre (also known as the Chivington massacre) was an incident in the Indian Wars of the United States that occurred on November 29, 1864, when Colorado Territory militia attacked and destroyed a village of Cheyenne and Arapaho encamped in southeastern Colorado Territory. John Chivington making good on his genocidal promise, led the Colorado Volunteers in a dawn attack on Black Kettle (a well-known "peace" chief) and his band, who had been told they would be safe on this desolate reservation. Two hundred Cheyenne men, women and children were slaughtered, and their corpses often grotesquely mutilated, in a massacre that shocked the nation.check the web for more sad details..

Sand Creek Massacre (the band) comes from Overijssel, Netherlands and this is their 2008 demo from their 2008 tour in Scandinavia. They formed in 2006 and toured thrice in Europe, (west/central Europe, Germany and Scandinavia) they released this mcd on Bored To The Core-records for their Scandinavian tour and a split with M:40 from Sweden is on the way. Music wise they blend crust with hardcore and d-beat, The demo delivers eight tracks and 28 minutes, the production is descent, lyrics in English. There must be a tape version it.
thanks to Chris for giving me this, cheers

LastSentence-Demo 2008

Last Sentence (or Lastsentence) is a female fronted manic noisecore act from Japan including former Ferocious X members and the vocalist of Nationstate. This is their demo recorded in spring of 2008 and brings you a pandemonium of five tracks and seven minutes of noise very close to Nation State stuff: Screaming vocals, hyperspeeding drums and fast and ripping bass and guitars. I don't know if they have recorded any other stuff, "Lost order" appears in vol 5 of "We are still pissed" (a series of cd compilation with female fronted bands)

Disassemble-Demo 2008

Disassemble hail from Baltimore,Maryland,USA, they are a new band and this is their four track demo recorded sometime in 2008: Despite the Dis on their name they are not another D-beat band, they seem to come out from the noisy swamps of Disrupt and grinding crustcore delivering ten minutes of raw crust/grind. Sometimes they step into crustcore fields, sometimes they fall into grind barbarism.
Visit their myspace (unfortunately no any infos there)

Dažd-Demo 2006

Amebix clones from Serbia: Dazd is a three piece act from Belgrade heavily influenced by Amebix and Killing Joke: They formed in 2006 and released two split ep's in 2008( the fist with Order of the Vulture on Fuck Yoga Records (Macedonia) & Gasmask Records (Czech Republic) and the second with Nakot on Doomed Records (USA, Bosnia), there is also a live cd, recorded in December 2006 in Belgrade.
This is their demo recorded in 2006 and delivers four tracks and 11:30 total running time. This is raw and noisy crustcore for the first two tracks and slower and emotional crust for the last tracks, close enough to the vinyl recordings. The lyrics are in Serbian language.

Zudas Krust-Matanza Y Muerte Masiva [tape,2008]

A new tape by these noise freaks released in November 2008: Zudas Krust hail from East & South Jakarta, Indonesia, "Matanza Y Muerte Masiva" (Slaughter And Mass Death) is their last release and delivers eight noisy and fast d-beat storms including covers of Rajoitus and Appararus from Malaysia. The production is raw once again and increases the noise the band delivers.
Zudas Krust formed in summer of 2004 and their first demo was "Raw punk inferno", they recently released a split cd with Rajoitus and Abnorm from Sweden
All links are from ZK myspace, thanks to Essak (bassist) for the split cd link

Epätasavalta & Defeated

This is about the discography of Epätasavalta and Defeated from Finland, both bands are one man band formed by Timo, member of Brutopia: Epätasavalta is a noise-grindcore piece shit, Timo recorded three "ep's" and two "albums" all releases were recorded in 2006 and '07 and are free for downloading, (in some releases all tracks were recorded during the same night..). On the other hand, Defeated stuff is completely different: slow and mournful sludgy doom with rough vocals and since i m not much into doom stuff, Corrupted is the first band that came to my mind. There are two cd's @ 320kbps for downloading, containing slow and emotional tracks and long enough to make you thing that last for an eternity.

Arrwstia-Demo 2008

Arrwstia(arrostia, Αρρωστια, sickness) is a four piece brutal grinding crust act from Volos, central Greece and this is their demo recorded sometime in 2008. The demo is named Vasanismenes psyches (Tortured souls) and delivers four tracks and nine minutes of distorted vocals, hardcore riffs and thick guitar sound, mid-paced and fast drums. Definitely there is a crust feeling here blended with hardcore, the sound quality is dissent and noisy and along with the brutal vocals makes the band balance on the thin line between grinding crust and crusty hardcore, lyrics in Greek language deal with the usual personal/social/political topics. Check this video from a gig in a squat in the city of Volos, cover artwork is here.

Nukkehammer-Demo 2008 [tape]

Nukkehammer come from Colombus Ohio,USA and this is their 2008 demo tape. The band includes ex-members of Dismal, i have their "Terra plague" ep, a nice piece of pissed crusty hardcore with influences from Swedish scene (Skitsystem, Bombanfall etc) and i was curious about Nukkehammer: The truth is they are not far from Dismal's stuff plus the japanese feeling in the singing style. Six tracks coming in a nicely done tape delivering nine minutes of punk wrath

Easpa Measa-Renounce and dethrone [2004]

Powerful male/female fronted crust band from Dublin, Ireland: Easpa Measa (roughly translated "Lack Of Respect" in Irish) formed around 2001/02 and this is their demo, released as cd in 2004. Their discography is the s/t cd (2002, GZ Records), the "Renounce and dethrone" demo cdr (recorded and selfreleased in 2004, one year later it was released by Impregnate Noise Laboratories from Czech Republic on tape format), the split 7" w/ Atomventigger from Scotland (2004, Holy Records), the split 7" w Nemetona from Japan (not any relation with the black metal band from Germany with the same name) in 2005 on Acclaim Records and the split 12" with Silence from Poland (Acclaim & Sadness of Noise Rec.s). A split with the Irish crusties Division Ruin is on the way.
"Renounce and dethrone" delivers six tracks and delivers 23 minutes of crusty flavored hardcore with dual male/female vocals. According to their site (some nice reviews there) some copies are still available from the band and it was going to come out on vinyl sometime in 2008 as a split release between the distro/label Humildad y Honestidad a label from Spain and Contraszt Records( involved with some great records such as Massmord/Shades of Grey-spit, Asedio's El ultimo invierno lp or the Fall of Effrafa/Down with Agony split lp), obviously some delay happened..

Filthcum-Mass manipulation through propaganda [tape,2007]

Filthcum hail from Hiroshima, Japan and despite the fact they formed in 2003 they seem to be lazy scams and "Mass manipulation through propaganda" demo tape is their one and only recorded material. Their myspace has no any infos, Google search gives no answers and so does their site too (not much things there and a major part of site is in Japanese).
The demo was recorded in 2007, it was limited to 100 hand-numbered copies and it is out of print, it consists of five tracks, actually the four tracks are into the rough jap/crust/hardcore area while the last track is a fifteen minutes long atmospheric ambient journey

Black Haven-Demo 2007

Another band i discovered some time ago: Black Haven come from Gent/Kortrijk,Belgium and i know not any single fucking thing about them (as usual..). According to their myspace they have recorded a demo tape/cd, the "Cleansing storm" ep/cd and "Lazarus" ep. Music wise they deliver metal edged rough crust with heavy, thick guitars and strong shouting vocals, tempos vary from fast to mid-paced and slower, the sound quality is excellent in the level of official release and the four tracks are about ten minutes long
The band offers for free their demo in their myspace, 300 cd and 77 tape copies were made, there is also a 7" version of it.You have to download both links and then unzip in one folder.
ps:Iskra's Fucking scum is active again

Bhopal-Where morality fails cd

This post is an instant escape from the horrible pictures on news, the reports of innocent who suffer and die in Gaza and the apathy of international community, apathy covered by diplomacy bullshit. But even the name of the band posted here carries a dark history: Bhopal is a city in India known for the disaster in the industrial area in 1984. Thousands people died, i was just a kid but still remember the reports on news telling about thousands people getting blind and die .More macabre infos you can find on wiki
the band Bhopal was formed during the fall of 2004 in Alesandria, (north/west of Italy) by 5 old friends members of many hardcore punk bands of the town (as Jilted, Insult Eyeless, Execucao, PDM, Drunkards). During 2006 Paz (guitar) decided to leave the band. In few days Gianoz, old friend, first drummer of Insult 12 years ago and member of the incredible Fondazione OK, joined the band. After few shows they recorded the demo CD "Where Morality Fails": 3 songs for 11 minutes. During autumn 2007, Gianoz quited the band, but fortunately after few weeks Nicola (Mortuary Drape, Eroded) joined the band!

Here..

first post for 2009, happy new fear to everyone..
